Who we share it with
When you tick the consent box, we pass your form answers to our partner brokers: [Named firm, company number, FCA reference]. They become a separate data controller and will contact you about income protection quotes. Their own privacy notice is at [link]. We do not sell your data to anyone else and do not use it to market unrelated products.
We may also use service providers to host this website and store form submissions: [hosting provider, CRM or form tool]. They process data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep your form submission and a record of your consent for 12 months from the date you submit it, so we can evidence consent and handle any complaints, after which it is deleted. Technical logs are kept for 90 days. Our partner brokers apply their own retention periods once they receive your details.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent, request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing at any time by emailing privacy@protectmywage.com. Withdrawing consent stops any further sharing, but you will need to contact the broker directly about details they already hold. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
